Luther's Surgery

His personality seemed to change and when I was down visiting him, I felt he needed to go ahead and get to the vet, get the nuetering and get checked out. Boy, am I glad we made that decision!!!! Poor Luther was in more distress than we had thought. His "missing" testicle was in his stomach releasing weird hormones (both male and female) and actually behaving like a "bleeding tumor"!!! Poor Luther was having a tough time!!! Luckily we got him to the vet in time and his procedure was done on Thursday, August 4th. Jan has a wonderful vet who was willing to perform the procedure, clip a big dew claw and get him on his way for about 553.00. So, because it was an emergency, we were able to get the procedure done on "credit".
I created a Chip In in order to raise the funds spent on his procedure. I realize times are tough and it is difficult to spare extra money for a dog you do not know...but I know Luther. He was worth every penny. Luther has been through alot in his 6-8 years. Now he can live his life without all those crazy hormones confusing him...
